Welcome to Tabble. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legally binding agreement
between you ("User", "you", or "your") and Tabble ("we", "us", or "our") governing
your access to and use of the Tabble mobile application, website, and related services
(collectively, the "Service").
By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service in any way, you confirm that
you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our
Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
These Terms apply to all users of the Service, including customers at participating venues and venue operators accessing the Tabble venue dashboard.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the core Service (ordering, loyalty, community).
You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Spark feature. See Section 7.
You must have a valid mobile number capable of receiving OTP verification.
By using the Service, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you meet these eligibility requirements.
3. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all
activity that occurs under it. Your account is personal to you — do not share access
with others.
If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at
tabblecustomers@gmail.com.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
or are found to be fraudulent, without prior notice.
4. Ordering Through Venues
4.1 How It Works
The Service allows you to scan a QR code at a participating venue, browse that venue's
menu, and place orders directly from your device. Orders are sent in real time to the
venue's Tabble dashboard.
4.2 Order Accuracy
You are responsible for reviewing your order before confirming it. Once an order is
placed and accepted by the venue, it may not be possible to modify or cancel it.
Contact venue staff directly for any changes.
4.3 Menu and Pricing
Menu items, prices, and availability are set by the venue and may change at any time.
Tabble displays the information provided by the venue but does not guarantee its
accuracy, completeness, or current availability.
4.4 Payment
Payment is processed through our third-party payment provider. By placing an order,
you authorise the charge to your selected payment method. Refund and dispute policies
for food orders are governed by the venue; contact the venue directly for order-related
refund requests.
4.5 Tabble's Commission
Tabble charges a service fee to the venue (not to you) on completed orders. This does
not affect the price you pay, which is set entirely by the venue.
5. Loyalty Programme
5.1 Earning Points
Loyalty points are earned on completed, paid orders at participating venues. The earn
rate (e.g., points per ₹10 spent) is set by each venue independently and may vary or
change at the venue's discretion with reasonable notice.
5.2 Redeeming Points
Points are redeemable at the venue where they were earned, subject to each venue's
redemption rules. Tabble is not responsible for a venue's decision to change or
discontinue its loyalty programme terms, though we will make reasonable efforts to
give users adequate notice.
5.3 No Cash Value
Loyalty points have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money. They are
non-transferable and expire if your account is deleted or if you have not visited
the issuing venue for 12 consecutive months, unless the venue specifies otherwise.
5.4 Fraud
Any attempt to fraudulently earn, redeem, or transfer loyalty points — including
through order manipulation or account abuse — will result in immediate account
termination and may be referred to the appropriate legal authority.
6. Community Feature
Each participating venue on Tabble has an associated community feed visible to
verified visitors of that venue. The community is a space for photos, posts, polls,
and discussion related to the venue.
Community access at a venue is granted after a verified visit (order or venue check-in).
You may be removed from a venue's community by the venue operator or by Tabble for violations of these Terms or the venue's community guidelines.
Content you post in a community feed is visible to other members of that community. Do not post anything you would not be comfortable with other regular visitors seeing.
Venue operators may moderate their community feed, remove posts, and set community guidelines beyond these Terms. Tabble is not liable for venue operator moderation decisions.
7. Spark Feature
Spark is strictly opt-in and available only to users who are 18 years of age or older.
By enabling Spark, you explicitly confirm you are 18 or over and consent to the
additional data processing described in our Privacy Policy, Section 9.
7.1 What Spark Is
Spark is a social discovery tool that allows verified venue visitors who have opted
in to signal interest in other opted-in visitors at the same venue. A connection is
only established when mutual interest is confirmed by both parties.
7.2 What Spark Is Not
Spark is not a dating app. It is not a general matching or hook-up service. It is a
venue-anchored, consent-based social feature. Attempting to use Spark for harassment,
solicitation, or non-consensual communication will result in permanent account termination.
7.3 Opt-In and Opt-Out
You may enable or disable Spark at any time via Settings → Spark. Disabling Spark
immediately removes your visibility from other users and permanently deletes your
Spark profile data. There is no partial opt-out — Spark is fully on or fully off.
7.4 Blocking
You may block any other user through Spark. Blocked users cannot see you and you
cannot see them. Blocks are permanent unless you manually remove them.
7.5 Age Verification
We rely on your self-declaration of age at opt-in. If we have reason to believe a
user is under 18, we will disable their Spark access immediately and may terminate
their account.
8. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to, and not to attempt to:
Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation in India or your jurisdiction.
Place fraudulent, false, or test orders at live venues.
Attempt to exploit, manipulate, or abuse the loyalty points system.
Harass, abuse, threaten, stalk, or intimidate any other user, venue staff member, or Tabble employee — including via Spark or Community features.
Post, transmit, or share content that is defamatory, obscene, pornographic, racially or ethnically offensive, or otherwise objectionable.
Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely represent your affiliation with a person or entity.
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, its servers, databases, or any other system connected to Tabble.
Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive source code from the Service.
Use automated bots, scrapers, or similar tools to access the Service without our written permission.
Use the Service to send unsolicited commercial messages (spam) to other users.
Create multiple accounts to circumvent a ban or exploit features.
Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate account termination, forfeiture of loyalty points, and referral to law enforcement where applicable.
9. Intellectual Property
The Tabble name, logo, design, trademarks, and the software underlying the Service
are owned by Tabble and protected by applicable intellectual property law. You may not
use our trademarks, trade dress, or branding without our prior written consent.
Venue menus, images, and branding displayed within the Service remain the intellectual
property of the respective venue partners.
10. User-Generated Content
When you post content (photos, text, poll responses) to a community feed or Spark,
you grant Tabble a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display, store,
and distribute that content within the Service for the purpose of operating the feature
you posted it in.
You retain ownership of your content. We do not claim ownership over anything you post.
You may delete your content at any time; deletion removes it from the feed but cached
or backup copies may persist for up to 30 days.
By posting content, you represent that you own or have the necessary rights to share
it, and that it does not infringe any third-party rights (copyright, privacy, etc.).
11. Venue Partners
Tabble is a platform that connects customers with participating venue partners.
We are not responsible for:
The quality, safety, or suitability of food and beverages ordered through the Service.
The conduct of venue staff or other patrons.
Venue operational decisions such as menu changes, price changes, or closure.
Disputes between you and a venue regarding your order or experience.
For complaints about a specific venue, contact that venue directly. For platform
complaints, contact us at tabblecustomers@gmail.com.
12. Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties
of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of
merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of
viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant the accuracy or completeness
of any content provided through the Service, including venue menus and pricing.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Tabble and its directors, employees,
agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special,
consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of,
or inability to use, the Service.
In no event shall our total liability to you for all claims arising from or related
to the Service exceed the amount you paid to Tabble (if any) in the 3 months preceding
the event giving rise to the claim, or ₹1,000, whichever is greater.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud caused
by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under
Indian law.
14. Termination
14.1 By You
You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Account → Delete Account.
Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Unused loyalty points will be forfeited
upon deletion.
14.2 By Us
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we
reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or
pose a risk to other users or the platform.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections 8, 9,
12, 13, 15, and 16 of these Terms survive termination.
15. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India,
without regard to its conflict of law principles. The courts of India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in
connection with these Terms or your use of the Service.
15.1 Dispute Resolution
Before filing any formal legal action, you agree to first attempt to resolve the
dispute informally by contacting us at tabblecustomers@gmail.com.
We will make good-faith efforts to resolve the issue within 30 days.
15.2 Applicable Laws
These Terms are subject to and incorporate, where applicable:
The Information Technology Act, 2000 and its amendments
The Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023
The Consumer Protection Act, 2019
The Indian Contract Act, 1872
16. Changes to These Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will notify
you via in-app notification at least 14 days before the changes take effect. The
updated Terms will be posted at tabble.in/terms with a
revised effective date.
Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes
your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you
must stop using the Service and delete your account.
